Our Story
Michael Largent | Managing Partner
Over his 25+ year career, Mike spent 12 of those as a professional management consultant with a “Big 4” tax, audit, consulting firm, an elite boutique firm specializing in strategy formulation, strategic planning, customer/channel planning, go-to-market strategy, and sales capability development & strategic selling training. He also provided independent consulting services prior to forming Agility Growth Partners. His clients were diverse, ranging from start-ups to Fortune 100 Conglomerates, and industries included manufacturing, CPG, Business Services, Professional Services, Business Process Outsourcing / IT Services, Food & Beverage, Distribution & Logistics, Wine / Beer / Spirits , Retail, Hospitality, and Industrial products.
During the other 13+ years of his career, Mike held operating roles of increasing responsibility with companies such as KPMG, PepsiCo | Frito-Lay, and Education Corporation of America Functionally, he led local, regional and national teams in field finance and sales organizations with Frito-Lay / PepsiCo where he was awarded Frito-Lay’s “Field Finance’s Finest” award for excellence in financial analytics, strategic planning and budgeting.
As a management consultant his previous clientele included companies such as ConAgra, Alcoa, EDS, Neiman Marcus, Lanier Worldwide, Georgia Crown Distributing. He also works with middle market and start-up clients in the Retail, FinTech and Life Sciences industries.
Mike is married and has three amazing children. He calls Birmingham, AL, home, and he is an ardent Crimson Tide college football fan. In his free time he enjoys spending quality time with family, playing and teaching golf, listening to music and watching sports.
Chris Garner | Partner
Throughout his career, Chris has consistently taken on leadership roles in various organizations across the country. His journey began after high school when he enlisted in the U.S. Navy, where he gained invaluable experience and insight into leadership and management from military officers. Following his military service, he earned a degree in Risk Management and Insurance from Ohio State University. Since 1999, Chris has excelled as a sales leader in the corporate sector, guiding teams and mentoring individuals to navigate the daily challenges inherent in sales.
An accomplished keynote speaker, Chris has shared his expertise on client priorities and effective sales strategies throughout his career. His commitment to personal development led him to pursue a master’s degree from Otterbein College, specializing in Negotiation and Leadership.
Outside of his professional endeavors, Chris is actively involved in charitable work, particularly with educational group DECA, where he prepares emerging leaders and entrepreneurs for future success.
Since 2001, Chris has also officiated college football, and currently continues that in the Southeastern Conference. He and his wife, Anna, reside in Auburn, AL along with their two golden doodles and one cat, enjoying their shared passions for community involvement and animal companionship.
